Aaron Jordan Talks Butler Offer

Class of 2015 Plainfield East shooting guard Aaron Jordan is one of the premier wings in the state’s rising junior class.  Jordan is a smooth perimeter scorer that is a plus shooter from both mid-range and three.  He had a productive July playing with the Illinois Stars 16U.  Thursday he visited Butler and came away with an offer from the Bulldogs.

“I was waiting for Coach Miller and he came in.  We sat down and talked about basketball and education.  He was impressed with my grades and he loved watching me play in Orlando.  He believed that I could come to Butler and make a difference.”

Jordan was able to see the Butler coaches in action and liked what he saw.

“Today I watched the team practice and it was pretty exciting because I could see myself there.”

What specifically stood out that really resonated with the young guard?

“The style of play matches my game and IQ.”

The Plainfield East star discussed what he likes about the Butler staff.

“They have a good relationship with their players and know how to get things done.”
