Alex Majewski Talks UTPA Verbal

Brother Rice senior small forward Alex Majewski had a big senior year.  The versatile forward put up numbers consistently throughout the season.  On Saturday, Majewski made his college decision and verbally committed to attend Texas Pan American.
“Yes I committed earlier today.”
The senior broke down how the commitment happened.
“I just called them and I told them I love the coaching staff and like the direction the program is headed.  Also they got LJ McIntosh from Marist and another guy from Merrillville , Indiana .  I knew both were good players.  Plus they’re moving to a new conference so it’s a good time to be a Bronc.”
Majewski discussed what he likes about the coaching staff that recruited him led by Head Coach Ryan Marks and assistant coach Tim Anderson.
“They’re both very smart coaches.  From the game I watched they get the most out of their players and they prepare them really well.  They also expect to get the best out of their guys every night and as a player I expect that of myself.”
The skilled forward can score at all three levels and was one of the top uncommitted players remaining.  Texas Pan American also has a commitment from Marist shooting guard LJ McIntosh and Indiana prep standout Jacob Raspopovich.
