Lake Forest power forward Evan Boudreaux brings a lot to the table as a young post prospect. The sophomore has good size and strength to play physical down low against older players. He makes quick and aggressive moves on the block and facing the hoop. Boudreaux is also a very good rebounder. The talented forward ranks as one of the best post players in the 2015 class. On Sunday he visited the Wisconsin Badgers.
“We headed up there this morning and met Coach Paris. Then he took us around the Kohl Center and showed us around a bit. Then I got to go talk with Coach Ryan and the rest of the coaches for a while. After that we went and watched the game which was a cool environment to be in. When the game was over Coach Paris brought me back into the locker room to talk to the coaches again.”
What did he talk with the staff about?
“We talked a lot about my season and how they are going to be at a lot of my games this spring watching.”
Boudreaux enjoyed getting to know the Badgers coaches.
“I like all of their coaches a lot. They are all really easy to talk to and are all obviously great coaches as they’ve never finished worse than fourth in the Big 10.”
What stood out about them on the court?
“I liked how Wisconsin is a really tough team that never quit and fought all the way to the end.”
Boudreaux will continue his tour of the Big 10 next weekend as he will visit Purdue on Saturday and Michigan on Sunday.
