Illinois State Lands Keyshawn Evans

Head coach Dan Mueller and Illinois State University have picked up a class of 2015 verbal commitment from Keyshawn Evans of The Sagemont School (FL).

Evans, a 5'11 point guard, led American-Heritage Plantation to the 5A title in Florida last year as a junior. He has transferred to the Sagemont School where he will team in the backcourt with Prince Ali (UCLA).

Evans took his official visit to the Illinois State campus this weekend after officially visiting UNC-Greensboro earlier in the month.

Evans becomes the third recruit in ISU's 2015 recruiting class joining 6'11 Daouda Ndiaye (Windermere Prep) and Matt Hein (Windermere Prep) to give the program a trio of recruits from the state of Florida.

Evans competed on the travel team circuit with E1T1.

Develle Phillips Commits To DePaul

Head coach Oliver Purnell and DePaul University have picked up a class of 2015 verbal commitment from Develle Phillips of Clinton Christian Academy (MD).

Phillips is a long and athletic four-man who has the ability to play above the rim. Phillips committed while on an unoffical visit to the DePaul campus.

Phillips competed on the travel team circuit with D.C. Premier.

Phillips is the first recruit in DePaul's 2015 recruiting class.

Emondre Rickman Commits To Indiana State

Head coach Greg Lansing and Indiana State University have scored again on the 2015 recruiting trail with a verbal commitment from Collinsville High School star Emondre Rickman.

Rickman, a 6'8 post, saw his recruiting stock skyrocket during the month of July with the Southwest Illinois Jets. Rickman has made tremendous strides with his game over the past year.

Rickman's commitment to Indiana State comes on the heels of the program scoring a key in-state commitment from 6'7 Bronson Kessinger (Corydon, IN).

Lansing made Rickman a target with securing added depth at the five being a priority for the program.

Billy Wright, WIU Land DeAngelo Bruster

Head coach Billy Wright and Western Illinois University have secured a verbal commitment from class of 2015 Shawnee Mission South (KS) star DeAngelo "Delo" Bruster.

Bruster, an athletic 6'0 point guard, was one of the driving forces behind Shawnee Mission South's 25-0 Kansas Class 5A state championship team last year.

Bruster competed on the travel team circuit with MoKan Elite. Bruster averaged nearly 17 minutes per contest on a high-powered MoKan Elite team that also featured 6'8 Juwan Morgan (Indiana) and highly regarded Shake Milton (Owasso, OK).

Bruster is the first recruit in WIU's 2015 recruiting class.
