Many looked at Tuesday’s super sectional as Morgan Park’s first real test of the state tournament. They had rolled every opponent in their way up to this point. Hillcrest had a veteran team with a lot of talent. Well it didn’t turn out to be quite as close as many thought. The Mustangs once again defeated another opponent as they beat Hillcrest 77-44. This team is on a mission!
Dayton commit Kyle Davis is one of the more underrated players in the nation. He attacks the hoop and is a flat out playmaker. Davis had 19 points in the victory. His running mate DePaul commit Billy Garrett chipped in 8 points. The junior duo that controls the paint Lamont Walker and Josh Cunningham were both in double figures respectively with 14 and 11 points.
