Illinois is set to host Chicago Curie star Cliff Alexander, their top 2014 recruiting target, on an official visit this weekend.
Alexander, who rates as the top power forward prospect in the country, took an official visit to Memphis last week after visiting Kansas earlier in the month.
Head coach John Groce has already lined up an impressive 2014 recruiting class at Illinois with Quentin Snider (Louisville, KY), Leron Black (Memphis, TN) and 6'9 Michael Finke (Champaign, IL) already in the fold.
Snider and Black both are considered top 50 prospects nationally.
Earlier in the week, Alexander took to Twitter to express that he was looking forward to seeing Illini freshmen Kendrick Nunn and Jaylon Tate.
